And so it begins

Thought I'd start a "blog" to get down some of the stuff that I've done in 70+ years. It's mostly for my own benefit but if you read it and enjoy it, that's great.


Let's start with early days at 2 Barnett Avenue, Glynde in South Australia. We lived behind my dad's service station, which was on Payneham Road. Mobil - at the sign of the flying red horse!


Just me and my older sister in the early years - younger brother appeared 11 years later.


Interesting neighbourhood - "Biddy" McGee the old bloke next door and then mostly Italian migrants down the street til the Nottle's house near the bottom. Lots of kids, lots of activity - especially during school holidays!


Life was sure simpler then...
